Counseling Orientation

Our approach is psychodynamic and we utilize elements of several different treatment modalities, including Object Relations Theory, Existential Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Cognitive Therapy.

Our work is relationally oriented and focuses on creating positive and lasting change in your life. This will help you identify and work through areas in your life that lead to destructive relationships and a sense of being stuck. We will help you look simultaneously at the best and worst in you, allowing you to operate out of a foundation of truth and understanding in which grounded decisions can be made.

Common Issues We Address

Depression, anxiety, story, childhood abuse or neglect, relationship issues, intimacy issues, communication problems, sexual abuse, affairs, stress management, identity issues, issues of purpose, self esteem, life transition, isolation and loneliness, grief and loss, self harm, and spiritual guidance.
